CAPTAIN'S LOG

Contained within this web site is the confidential diary of one Captain Horatio MacNelson (OBE) who runs the MV Glen Midden on relief duties for Caledonian McBrayne ferries when one of their vessels is out of action for repairs or service.

His story started in 2006 and has continued to enthrall the listening public on Cuillin FM since 2009 when his diaries - or chronicles, as he prefers to call them - fell in to the wrong hands and became part of the public domain. Not only that, but spies aboard the ferry have been able to plant microphones in every nook and cranny in order to make recordings of their 'adventures', as he likes to call them. These we have managed to edit down and put into episodes for your delectation and delight. Stories will appear at regular intervals, when we feel the injunctions are liable to be lifted.

Since the writing of the above The Glen Midden Chronicles has well and truly sailed! There will be no more - 99 episodes have actually nearly killed the two monkeys it took to write this nonsense.
